Traveling to Spain
The guidebook “spain” was excellent. I used it for planning the trip to Madrid, Barcelona and Toledo.

Great tool for travel planning a quick trip to this region of England
I visited Oxford las month and this Pocket Guide was a great value. Sights and pubs reviews were spot on. One thing though: during graduation season, several sights are closed down for private events. Duke Humfrey's library and the Sheldonian Theater were unavailable during my trip. Maybe there's a note in the guide which I might have missed, but a heads-up on this would be nice.

I love the lonely Planet Guides, they are so useful when travelling. It Had all the Importamt information about the regions in Tasmania, so we could plan our Roadtrip without googling for hours. The Cape Raoul Track was beautiful, as Well as many other places recommended Here. The prices of the ferry etc. Are also helpful. Thank you!

Flight Free Europe
I loved this book so much I’ve gifted it to about 5 people this holiday season. It is truly a source of inspiration for my husband and I for many future European vacations to come. I love that it provides dozens of inspirational routes to explore that all can be reached using public transportation (buses, trains) and even Baruch and biking. Obviously coming from the US we would fly to a major international airport; I feel this book helps one ascertain best airport options to use to embark on the trip route of your choice. This book is really a good buy for people who like to travel via public trans (trains, buses ) for ANY reason, not just for environmental reasons). I find it fun to master the local public trans wherever I travel. If you are looking for trip inspiration, love European train travel, meeting and talking to locals when you travel , staying in old town centers where parking is often a burden rather than a convenience, I think this book is a real asset. Some of the cities and routes were not on my radar. For more remote routes there is bus information. We have had surprisingly good experiences traveling by bus in Spain, Turkey and Germany in the past. This information isn’t always easy to come by during the trip planning stage, so this book will make it a easier to use both rail and bus options. This book provides the basics for trip planning. I still intend to buy the Lonely Planet country by country guide books when I want really in depth info, but for actual inspiration and general planning I think this book is an excellent purchase.
