Great tool for travel planning a quick trip to this region of England
I visited Oxford las month and this Pocket Guide was a great value. Sights and pubs reviews were spot on. One thing though: during graduation season, several sights are closed down for private events. Duke Humfrey's library and the Sheldonian Theater were unavailable during my trip. Maybe there's a note in the guide which I might have missed, but a heads-up on this would be nice.

Planning trip to Rajasthan
I purchased a copy of Lonely Planet's guide to Rajasthan, Delhi & Agra to assist with planning a three week trip to the region. With such a huge choice of places to visit, it has proved very helpful in my need to make choices of where to go within the time limitations I have for each location. There are also some excellent tips for getting around as well as the food, what to wear (for ladies in particular), health and avoiding scams, etc. I would be pleased to recommend it for first time visitors to the region such as myself.
