Complex and diverse - if you have patience and a sense of adventure, India is a must! Guide book was beneficial yet accommodation, food, transportation, entertainment is readily available online country wide. I have travelled with Lonely Planet for forty five years and appreciate the varied information provided in the guide books and the ability to plan in advance.
