Sarah Wintle has been working as a writer for two years and has contributed to Lonely Planet's Australia & New Zealand on a shoestring, Southeast Asia on a shoestring (there's a recurring warm climate theme here), The Travel Book, Bluelist, Code Green and The Cities Book. Her writing has also appeared on LonelyPlanet.com and in Voyeur, City Weekly, the Sunday Herald Sun, New Arrivals Magazine, the Salt Lake Tribune and the Miami Herald.
Her most regular gig was working as Marketing Communications Coordinator (Asia/Pacific) at Lonely Planet for four years, but now she's based in Bangkok, Thailand, working with an environmental organisation.
This yoga devotee and keen photographer has had travel wanderlust for years, travelling from New York to Nepal and taking in Australia, Asia and Europe. Sarah has a passion for all things Asia - her most recent trips have been to China, Japan and India. And the next big adventure? South and Central America. No doubt about it, Sarah's travel obsession is with her for life.
Favourite destination: I guess if I HAVE to pick somewhere, why not say New York City because it manages to combine a little bit of everywhere and there's an indescribable buzz in the air.
