Traveling to Spain
The guidebook “spain” was excellent. I used it for planning the trip to Madrid, Barcelona and Toledo.

Great tool for travel planning a quick trip to this region of England
I visited Oxford las month and this Pocket Guide was a great value. Sights and pubs reviews were spot on. One thing though: during graduation season, several sights are closed down for private events. Duke Humfrey's library and the Sheldonian Theater were unavailable during my trip. Maybe there's a note in the guide which I might have missed, but a heads-up on this would be nice.

really helpful
I love the lonely Planet Guides, they are so useful when travelling. It Had all the Importamt information about the regions in Tasmania, so we could plan our Roadtrip without googling for hours. The Cape Raoul Track was beautiful, as Well as many other places recommended Here. The prices of the ferry etc. Are also helpful. Thank you!

Simply wonderful how-to and where-to personal guides
Just incredible—compact yet full of extremely useful and helpful information about the subject cities in a calm and digestible format. The LP Pocket city guides tackle one thing at a time-one page at a time—not like other travel books that are jam packed with pictures and maps- that -one gets a headache from trying g to sort out what’s what-and how to get there—If one can even decide where to start!
With LP—It’s like meeting up with a local person who acts as a resource for seeing their city. I was blown away by the book on Tokyo that I came upon at Barnes and Noble— bought it -and gladly ordered Seoul and Kyoto since they weren't available the store. Many thanks to all —especially the writers, map designers, all the QR’s helping in many ways—we haven’t taken out trip yer—but we are certainly well prepared-all the more since we can maximize our time in a much more informed manner!
